Information for Talk Presenters

In-person presentations

You will be asked to prepare a 12-minute presentation with additional 3 minutes for Questions and transition. You have the option to use your own computer or upload your presentation slides using a filename that indicates your name and day of presentation (e.g. Schlining_Tuesday.ppt). If you do choose to use your own computer, you need to arrive at the conference center between 0800 and 0900 on the day of your presentation to test it. Instructions for uploading your presentation file will be shared with workshop registrants over email.

Online presentations

Please pre-record your presentation as an 12-minute MP4 video. Instructions for uploading your video file will be sent to all workshop registrants via email. We will provide you with a Zoom link so that you can be available to answer questions during your designated presentation time slot.

Information for Poster Presenters

In-person posters

You will be asked to prepare a 1-minute lightning presentation (no more than 1 slide; individual Questions and Answers will take place at your poster) and a printed 48 inch wide by 36 inch tall (122 x 91 cm) poster on the day of your poster session. Given the rapid format of lightning talks, you will need to upload your presentation slide by October 4th with a filename that indicates your name and day of presentation (e.g. Schlining_Wednesday.key). Your poster can be displayed for the entire workshop. Instructions for uploading your presentation file will be shared with workshop registrants over email. You can view your poster session, either Wednesday or Thursday, here.

Online posters

Information for Workshop Presenters

To allow ample time for setup and in-depth engagement, we’ve extended your workshop session to one hour. While you are not obligated to fill the entire hour, please prepare at least 30 minutes of interactive content.
The goal of these interactive sessions is to provide attendees with hands-on experience or in-depth discussions related to your tools, information, or techniques. You will have a dedicated room accommodating up to 30 participants, equipped with power and Wi-Fi.
To optimize participant time, we strongly recommend that any necessary software be pre-installed. We will provide limited internet bandwidth, so pre-installation will help ensure a smooth session. If software installation is required, please provide clear setup instructions in advance, and we will make these available to participants.
